Mulina is a hamlet 230 metres above sea level on the road connecting Pontestazzemese and Stazzema, crossed by a stream. From here it is about 15 minutes to Forte and 20 to the sandy beach. It is one of the oldest villages in upper Versilia (alta Versilia) foundation is unknown until today, it is known that it was built by the Romans and later consolidated by the Longobards. It was one of the trading centres for pyrite, limonite and iron, with which weapons were made as early as 1400. The area is known for large production of gunpowder, weapons and iron material for the First and Second World Wars. Such production also took place in this house. The house is a quaint stone house, part of a structure consisting of several houses, located at the end of a narrow side road above the village. The stream babbles directly below, there are 2 other parts of the house occupied by young owners. Opposite and directly above the stream is a rustico in need of renovation, which can be co-sold on request. Next to the house is a kind of natural terrace, which should be renovated a bit and could become a jewel (seating area with barbecue ect possible) A photo of it is attached to the overview. On the main road not far from each other are 2 restaurants ( mostly active in summer) with a large car park.
The house is very spacious on 2 floors. Entrance with staircase to first floor with 2 terraces - lovely old cotto floors and wooden beams, fireplaces. Large dining kitchen, huge bathroom, room ( living room) with exit to the terrace, double living room with fireplace. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms - one of them with fireplace and a bathroom.
Heating ( gas instantaneous water heater )
( a part of the house next to it with a passage to the small garden can be bought for an extra charge) The property is ideal as a holiday home.
