Stiava is a small village in the hinterland of Viareggio and Massarosa. The centre of the village has a small piazza with a church and a lively piazza on the main street, where you can find small but all shops - groceries, bank, pharmacy, fashion, restaurant. It is 6 km by car to the sea and only 4 km to Lake Massaciucoli. Stiava is close to Corsanico and Bargecchia, or Pieve and Camaiore. You can organise many short trips from here - Lucca and Pisa are only about half an hour's drive away, Florence a little more.

Stiava is flat and then, from the church onwards, begins to take over the hill - here you will find olive groves and lots of land and woods, but at first the landscape has been built up with pretty houses. Right here on a plateau on the hill, next to a larger car park, 3 ecologically built houses with small gardens are now being built, all with some sea view.
